Privacy notice

This notice explains how we handle information you provide through the TG Business Diagnostic. It sits alongside the main privacy policy on thetgconsultancy.co.uk.

Who we are

Maeve Lorcan Limited is the data controller for information submitted through the TG Business Diagnostic. You can contact us at tom@thetgconsultancy.co.uk.

What we collect

Assessment answers and any additional detail you choose to enter.

Your first name, last name, work email address, organisation, job title, approximate annual turnover band and employee range.

Your consent choices and the date and time of your submission.

What we never ask for

We do not collect bank details, passwords, payroll records, customer data or confidential financial documents. Please do not enter any of this information into free-text fields.

Why we process it

To calculate and present your results (performance of a service you have requested).

To contact you about those results, where you have given consent.

To send occasional practical guidance, only where you have separately opted in. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

Progress saved in your browser

While you complete an assessment, your answers are stored in your own browser's local storage so you can return on the same device. That data stays on your device until you submit, clear your progress or clear your browser storage. It is not sent to us until you submit.

How long we keep it

Submissions are retained for 24 months from the date of submission, after which they are deleted unless we have an ongoing client relationship requiring longer retention.

Who can see it

Access is restricted to authorised TG Consultancy personnel. Submissions are held in an access-controlled database and cannot be read by other users of the diagnostic.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. Email us to exercise any of these rights.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Results are indicative and based solely on the information you provide. They do not constitute financial, legal, tax or investment advice, and should not be relied on as a substitute for professional advice specific to your circumstances.
